The Four Seasons and the Restoration of the Universe
An Interview with Steve Jobs
Recorded on September 13, 2017, by Chief Writer Shi Faxin

This interview was recorded on September 13, 2017, by the chief writer, Shi Faxin. In this account, Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, shares his profound experiences in the spiritual realms. He describes his journey across various dimensions—from the depths of the hells to the far reaches of the galaxy—witnessing the transformative power of the Buddha-name in restoring the universe and guiding sentient beings toward the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Steve Jobs speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. Chanting Namo Amituofo does not mean death; it is the path to true life. After chanting the Buddha-name three times, Practitioner Su, Changren, and I began to fly! We started from the most agonising hells. Everyone there was wailing—'Ah! Ah! Ah!'—some were torn to pieces, only to be restored again. The scenes were truly too tragic to behold, and they stirred a deep sense of unbearable pity within me. Fortunately, Practitioner Su goes to these hells every day to perform . I, too, endured such bitter days in the past, and even now, the mere memory of it makes me shudder.
From the Earth to the Stars
Next, we encountered the indigenous people of Australia. They were making 'ooh-ooh' sounds in their own language. When they saw the light, it caused quite a stir among them. Those who had been lying on the ground sunbathing immediately stood up. Sensing the gentleness and warmth of that light with their pure intuition, an elder among them turned back and called out, and everyone followed the light. We then arrived at the earth. The earth was layered and stacked; looking left and right, it seemed boundless. Every grain of sand and every insect embedded within the soil possessed a head. This is what Practitioner Su mentioned yesterday. Although she was speaking of water currents, I kept my eyes wide open today, determined to see clearly. Since we arrived at the earth first, and Practitioner Su had taught us to draw inferences about other things from one instance, I realised they must also have densely packed heads. I focused my attention intensely. Indeed, it was exactly as I thought. The sheer number of them made my scalp tingle! Why would my scalp tingle? It must be because my is not yet sufficient, for I glanced at Practitioner Su and Changren, and neither of them showed any facial reaction. How could I be such a coward? It was truly shameful.
Just as I was pondering these things, the magnificent sound of 'Namo Amituofo' began to infuse and irrigate the earth, layer by layer, without missing a single spot. It was as if everyone had awakened in an instant. They looked at one another, and a clear, pure stream poured into them. Because their had just been purified by the Buddha-name, their eyes looked very pure and kind. Once their minds were clear, they used this Buddha-name to influence others, and they began to sway along with the rhythm of the Buddha-name, heading towards the light.
The Lesson of the Waterfall
Then came the water currents. Today, I observed a waterfall—'Shua! Shua! Shua!'—the sound of the water was incredibly loud. I observed the expressions of every droplet as it fell. Everyone looked a bit nervous because the waterfall had a very steep drop. I suspect they were wondering if it would hurt when they hit the bottom. Later, I delved deeper into their nature and realised they were all people with very strong personalities and a tendency towards impatience. So, this is how one becomes a waterfall! How terrifying! In that case, many people I knew in my past life have the potential to become a single droplet in that waterfall! Phew! No wonder Practitioner Su always tells the fourfold assembly of disciples: 'Do not be headstrong!' A strong personality can ruin a person's life, and one only has a single human life to live! So that is what it means. All things in the universe are manifesting the to help us learn. I feel that my Wisdom has opened up a bit, which is why I am finally able to understand these things. After Practitioner Su arranged for a Namo Amituofo machine to run at the waterfall, an infinite number of water droplets transformed into human forms and headed towards the light.
from the Digital Space
We subsequently arrived at a university. Beyond performing Chao Du for the flowers, trees, and plants there, we also performed it for the hardware equipment—the computers and the mobile phones held in everyone's hands. Once the light from Practitioner Su arrived, all things were drawn out as if by a magnet. A gardener walked out from a round, bushy shrub; it turned out that during his life, he had been so attached to the perfect shape of that tree that his spirit had entered it. Then, so many people walked out from their computers and mobile phones—some walked out while talking on the phone, some while scrolling through their screens, and others were still obsessed with video games, yet they were all sent out. Once the light covered them, they finally woke up from their own spaces. Though their eyes still looked dull, I knew they were the sentient beings with karmic affinity created by the I had accumulated as Steve Jobs. I observed the expression of each person, but I dared not stand too far forward. I was afraid that after they woke up from their spaces and saw the familiar face of Steve Jobs, they would have a strong reaction and blame me for treating them this way. Every time I perform Chao Du, seeing such scenes that frighten me makes me want to hide behind Practitioner Su. Yet, I have to maintain some semblance of masculinity, so I force myself to stand in place, my whole body trembling slightly while I try to keep my face as calm as possible. Because the more clearly one sees the truth of the universe, the more frightening it becomes. Sometimes, I accidentally let out a sigh, feeling fortunate that I have already reached the Western Pure Land. This subtle, selfish mindset is something I must change. I have been listening carefully to what Changren says every day. Although he was my younger brother in the past, his Wisdom is truly worthy of my admiration. Do you know how bustling the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia is every morning? The ancestral masters and venerable masters each have their own territories, and the number of sentient beings they bring back is immeasurable and boundless.
The Wonders of the Galaxy
Stars and the Milky Way are the subjects scientists love to explore most. Major nations are even researching unmanned spacecraft, launching them into outer space to monitor the development of planets, and sending robots to explore for signs of life. How much manpower and material resources have been spent to obtain this data, yet there does not seem to be much substantial breakthrough. Haha! Every day, I also go to the Milky Way to assist with all matters of Chao Du. Many extraterrestrial beings are semi-transparent, living in different levels of space according to the height of their spirituality. The higher the level, the stronger the energy magnetic field of their planet, and the most direct sensation is a kind of warm light. But none of it can compare to the compassion of the Buddha-light. The energy of the Buddha-light is the supreme, profound, and subtle Dharma. It is infinite energy, without any distinction between strong or weak; it is perfectly balanced, for the Buddha’s teachings are just like that—equal, without high or low. Therefore, many extraterrestrial beings also choose to head towards the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. The world of outer space amazes me. If I discover anything else later, I will introduce it to everyone.
A Vow for the Universe
Today, I know that the heart of Practitioner Su is tied to the restoration of the physical world—wishing to be as free as the wind, mountains & rivers—the distinctness of the four seasons, and the turning of human hearts towards Goodness. I have seen the visualisation of Practitioner Su: mountains that had collapsed in landslides have returned to lush green; riverbeds that had run dry have become flowing rivers, clear to the bottom and full of vitality; and corrupted human hearts have been transformed into kind Buddha-hearts. By spreading this 'Namo Amituofo' from one person to ten, and ten to a hundred, the magnetic field of the universe has changed. Practitioner Su is letting everyone, every point in the universe, chant this 'Namo Amituofo.' Every cell in the universe is also chanting 'Namo Amituofo.' A piece of auspicious serenity is spreading; the universe is being repaired. The vow of Practitioner Su will surely be fulfilled soon. I am also learning her visualisation, contributing a little effort for this universe. If you can, please also look after this world and this universe. Selflessness and are the mind-capacity of Practitioner Su and the Buddha, but if there were a few more Buddhas in the world, this universe would have even more hope. I am currently learning, and I invite everyone to join me so that we can have each other as companions. Gratitude to Namo Amituofo. The Buddha-name rings in my ears; it is another magnificent and wonderful day."
