The Eternal Echoes of

The laws of karma and cause and effect govern the past, present, and future. Wherever there is a spirit, these laws exist. This is not limited to our own world; it encompasses all other realms, the entire Realm, the vastness of empty space, and even beings from outer space. Every single life form, whether sentient or insentient, shares the same original nature and wisdom. Each creature carries its own unique history of karma, and because of this, they remain trapped in the cycle of reincarnated existence. To truly find liberation, one must seek to realise one's true self and permanently escape this cycle of samsara by following the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

The Fleeting Shadows of Time

If we take this current lifetime as our reference point, the previous life is the past, and the next life is the future. If we shift our perspective to the previous life, then the life before that becomes the past, and this current life becomes the future. Even within a single moment, the second that has just passed is already the past, and the next second is the future. Time and space are constantly shifting and turning. Throughout these countless lifetimes, beings take the stage to perform roles that are sometimes identical, sometimes different, and often repetitive. Life passes by, second by second.

A Life Anchored in the Truth

If you live this lifetime merely following the tracks laid down by your past karma, you are simply continuing the same old story. It remains a cycle of life and death, separation and sorrow, interpersonal conflicts and disputes, and calculating gains and losses. If your true self remains lost in the darkness, never to be seen, then what is the point of such suffering? In the end, it is all just a dream—an illusion, empty and void. However, if you are blessed in this lifetime and are a wise person who understands the laws of karma and cause and effect, you will encounter the teachings. Once you know of , you must do everything in your power to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Every effort you make in life—every word you speak, every action you take—should be dedicated to returning to the Western Land. Only then can you call your life truly meaningful.

Beyond the Stars

Those who clearly understand and accept the laws of karma and cause and effect will be cautious and diligent in everything they do, ensuring they do not create new causes for suffering. At Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we perform for immeasurable and boundless beings. This includes beings from other planets and distant outer space. Many of these beings face dire circumstances because their home planets are experiencing energy crises, making survival nearly impossible. Because they are illuminated by the ceaseless energy of the Buddha-light, they are transformed and guided to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. They are saved through this process, escaping the destiny of their original worlds and being reborn into the realm of Infinite Life, Infinite Light.

Returning to the Realm of the True Self

The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is the realm of the true self. In that place, there are no distinctions of high or low, no you or me, and no suffering within the six realms of existence. There is only purity, equality, and the freedom of a single, unified existence. Any subtle , happiness, or freedom is shared by all. To reach this world of ultimate bliss, you only need to maintain unwavering faith that does not falter, possess a sincere willingness to go there without changing your mind, and practise chanting Namo Amituofo with a focused mind, without interruption. When you reach the end of your life, if you do not allow your mind to be filled with delusions, messy thoughts, or confusion, and instead remain focused on chanting Namo Amituofo, you will certainly be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This interview was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi. Namo Amituofo.
