The spirit now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon the spirit's experience of waiting and eventual liberation. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa Jing, on April 4, 2025.
The second aborted spirit of Chen Lihua speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I have finally reached this day. I can see the light, and I can see hope. I am so deeply grateful to Practitioner Su for bringing me to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I feel as though I have truly been liberated; I no longer have to endure that unbearable suffering. I am so incredibly happy now. All the sadness and pain of the past have vanished in an instant. All I want to do now is chant Namo Amituofo; I do not want to think about anything else.
A Long Wait for the Light
Even though I am being interviewed now, I still have to speak, though I hardly know what to say. In this lifetime, I had very little karmic connection with this world, and I did not even know my mother. I remember when my mother harmed me—I was in such agony. Yet, I kept waiting. I kept hoping that one day, my mother would suddenly remember me.
My spirit has always been very positive. I do not know where this positive energy came from, but it seems I have always found it easy to look on the bright side of things. So, even during my moments of extreme suffering, I tried my best to keep my thoughts positive, believing that one day I would encounter the light.
Watching from Another Dimension
I kept waiting and waiting. While I waited, I always stayed by my mother’s side, but we existed in different spaces. My mother could not enter my space, so she could not see me. Likewise, I could not interfere with her space, so I never caused her any harm. I simply knew she was there.
I watched my mother change year after year, from her youth into her older years. Sometimes she was happy, sometimes she was depressed, and sometimes she was unhappy. That is how she lived, day after day. When my mother began to study the , I could feel the warmth of the Buddha-light, but it seemed that it still could not reach me or help me. It was not until now that the Buddha truly saved me. I have truly been rescued.
The Final Deliverance
I know it was my mother who helped me, which allowed Practitioner Su to become aware of my existence and save me. Through Practitioner Su, I learned many things and saw my own past, which made me realise that I needed to come to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss immediately.
Thank you, Mother, for helping me. Although we did not have the karmic affinity to be mother and child in this life, I am much happier now because I no longer have to cycle through the six realms of rebirth. Namo Amituofo."
