The Magnificent Radiance of the Assembly

Namo Amituofo stands majestically in the sky, radiating a profound and awe-inspiring golden light. This brilliance, combined with the light emanating from the five memorial tablets, fills the entire space with a golden glow. During this magnificent Dharma assembly, the of Practitioner Su and the fourfold assembly of disciples engage in deep contemplation. Together, they guide countless beings as they surge into the memorial tablets and emerge again in a continuous, rhythmic flow. This scene of is truly spectacular; never before has such a profound and orderly process been witnessed. Many beings attached to the members of the fourfold assembly, upon seeing this miraculous sight, are moved to follow and enter the tablets themselves.

Yesterday, Practitioner Yu suffered an injury to her hand. After Practitioner Su finished reciting the messages from the beings and the memorial tablets, a significant transformation occurred. Beyond the beings specifically named on the tablets, Practitioner Su led a session of circumambulation. He contemplated and invited the beings residing within Practitioner Yu’s injury and throughout her body to come forth. Because she had been injured, these beings had been harbouring deep resentment and dissatisfaction. Moved by the compassionate scene of Chao Du unfolding in the sky, many of these beings chose to leave Practitioner Yu’s body. Practitioner Su guided them into the memorial tablets, demonstrating the truth that physical injury can be a catalyst for resolving karmic debts and clearing obstacles. It is certain that Practitioner Yu’s wound will gradually heal. This is the immense benefit of being at Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre; one can invite spirits to resolve karmic conflicts and help them achieve rebirth in the Western Pure Land at any time. This is a magnificent opportunity that beings elsewhere simply cannot access.

The Universal Resonance of Chanting

The scene of chanting Namo Amituofo is even more vast and powerful. Beyond the regular salvation team, the assembly is joined by Avalokiteshvara , Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva, the Pure Ocean of Bodhisattvas, the ancestral masters, the four sages, and celestial beings from the twenty-eight heavens. Everyone shares a single, unified goal: to pray for rain to end the local drought, to increase the positive and virtuous energy in the world, to purify the polluted air of the Earth, to transform human hearts toward goodness, and to guide the Earth back onto the right path. Because of this, everyone chants with utmost sincerity, and the sound of the Buddha-name resonates deeply within every heart. This sincerity is so profound that it vibrates upward to the Dharma Realm, the sacred realms, the heavens, and the Earth itself. Downward, it penetrates the ground, reaching deep into the earth and even the hells. This is the elevation and full expression of spiritual life. Through the blessing of Namo Amituofo and the compassionate leadership of Practitioner Su, the power of chanting is fully realised. The speed of the response is incredible. Beyond the invisible changes in the Earth’s magnetic field, the visible phenomena—the gathering of dark clouds, thunder, lightning, and the falling rain—are the most direct ways to touch the hearts of the people. The fourfold assembly has deeply felt the rapid and inconceivable power of chanting for rain.

The Australian government and the local people do not yet fully understand that this intense rainfall and the unusual weather patterns are the result of the successful chanting for rain at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. In time, the causal conditions will surely arise for them to learn of this and to affirm the value of the temple’s existence. This will undoubtedly benefit even more beings and help the temple to remain in this location for the long term. The , Wisdom, mind-capacity, and resourcefulness that Practitioner Su demonstrates in benefiting suffering beings are qualities that the fourfold assembly must strive to emulate. In the future, we must also learn to relieve the suffering of beings and save them on a vast scale.

The Renewal of the Physical Vessel

The number of attached spirits on Practitioner Su—whether on his scalp, scars, or back—has already decreased significantly. Those beings who had been residing in the deeper layers of his body have, over these past days, gradually surfaced. They have been removed or invited to leave, either through the use of the vacuum or through direct invitation. Consequently, Practitioner Su’s body should feel a sense of recovery. The skin that was previously injured has not only healed but now appears even more radiant than before. These newly regenerated cells signify that Practitioner Su’s mission to save the world and deliver beings has entered a new milestone. We must all follow and protect him on this path.
