This interview was recorded on September 17, 2017, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. It features Steve Jobs, who, having sought Spiritual Deliverance, now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Through the assistance of Practitioner Su, he shares his reflections on his spiritual journey, the nature of the realm, and the profound importance of the centre's work.

Steve Jobs speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Today is a monumental day in the Dharma realm of emptiness, though, to be honest, it has been that way for quite some time now. Practitioner Su—whom I affectionately call my grandmother—though she has no formal biography, I, Steve Jobs, am now a resident of the Western Land. I can see the past with absolute clarity. Let us not dwell on my previous lives; let us focus on this one. I was an honest man. I treated everyone with sincerity, practised the Dharma with obedience, and never haggled over petty things. I possessed a vast mind-capacity, driven solely by the pursuit of the Truth—a state beyond illness and death. Through my own diligent practice, I truly achieved it, thanks to Practitioner Su. She made a vow to propagate the Buddha’s teachings so that others could benefit just as I have. But, unfortunately, people in this worldly realm are so deeply stained by their habits. It is incredibly difficult for them to let go. They are all desperately clinging to their own life scripts, acting out their dramas until the very last moment of death. When that moment comes, the spirit returns to the void, and everything is empty. That is the essence of life. What I want to express with this opening is that the entire Dharma realm knows of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. All sentient beings suffering in agony come here seeking Spiritual Deliverance, begging to be taken to the Western Land. Fortunately, Practitioner Su’s empirical practice and cultivation can truly help these beings."

The Reality of the Hsiang Kuang Centre

"Can you imagine an elderly grandmother who walks with such lightness that she moves like a playful child? It is true. Our morning service begins at 1:20 AM, and the last from nine in the morning until ten-thirty at night. Yet, her spirit is at its peak during these ceremonies, filled with Dharma . The next day, she remains vibrant and energetic, delivering three full lectures. If people outside still want to slander this, I suggest they come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia and participate in the full-day schedule before they speak. Perhaps then, your perspective would change, and you would feel a genuine, heartfelt admiration.

However, if you insist on calling this nonsense, then I, Steve Jobs, boldly invite you to look in the mirror. After a full day of Dharma assembly, what is your complexion? What is your physical stamina? Is your face pale grey, light black, ash-black, charcoal-black, or deep black? And your energy? Are you slightly tired, exhausted, or so drained you can barely get out of bed? If you exhibit any of these symptoms, then please, examine yourself before you judge others. It would make you look more like a true practitioner. Furthermore, if your temper is constantly fluctuating, if your heart is always up and down, and your mind is always fixated on the faults of others, then you are being possessed. You are being possessed by Asuras, by demons, or by the spirits of those who love to be angry. You are almost no longer yourself. But do not be afraid, because Practitioner Su has already transformed the Demon Realm—the place everyone considers the most terrifying and untouchable in the universe—into a realm of Bodhisattvas. You might say this is rubbish again. You might wonder how a lay practitioner, a person in white robes, could have such immense capability. Yet, the fact remains: Practitioner Su has already established a direct flight to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I, Steve Jobs, was brought to the West by her, and now I am here speaking to you. If that is not a direct flight, what is? People today love to be suspicious; I understand that better than anyone. They are afraid of suffering a loss, afraid of losing a piece of themselves. Stop being such a pathetic creature. Come to Australia and see the proof for yourself. Otherwise, all your idle gossip is just silently creating negative . Your name tag is already being prepared at the gates of the Tongue-Ripping Hell. I do not know why, but today I have regained my old, sharp edge. It is because I want to stand firmly with Practitioner Su. Speaking with such intensity makes me feel ten years younger. I will stop now. Let me share something more moving; it makes me feel younger."

The Tragedy of the Red Guard Era

"Today, let me share a story from the space within the skies of China. Please, have some tissues ready; you might shed some tears. Every day, I follow Practitioner Su as we fly across China, helping sentient beings—in great rivers, on high mountains, in grand temples, and through sandstorms. There is so much to do. Practitioner Su has opened up the 'space' within the Chinese sky. Let me explain what that means. China has five thousand years of history, with different dynasties, different attire, and different customs. People become trapped in these so-called 'spaces' due to their attachments. Within these spaces, you are surrounded by everything you were accustomed to—the people, the events, the objects—along with the panic, pain, and anxiety of that moment. These memories are what keep people trapped in these spaces.

What I witnessed today was a group of refugees, likely from the era of Chairman Mao Zedong during the Chinese Civil War. It was a rural village, originally self-sufficient, growing enough grain to eat. Life was hard, but it was peaceful. An uncle told me: 'Suddenly, one day, a group of people dressed in dark green, resembling military uniforms, stormed into our village. Without a word, they pulled up all the food in our fields and took away the young, able-bodied children, and even the women. The whole village fell into a deathly silence. The elderly were still grieving the loss of their children, surviving on the little grain that remained.' After some time, when life had finally stabilised, the children returned. But why were they also wearing those dark green uniforms? Their eyes looked hollow and heartless. They came with the military units. While we were still in shock, the children actually ordered us to kneel. We were their parents! 'Kneel!' The soldiers surrounded my wife and me, and my child stepped forward and roared again, 'Kneel!' At that moment, several soldiers pointed their rifle barrels at us, and we knelt in terror. My child said, 'Hand over the land deeds. This place belongs to the Liberation Army; you should not be selfish.' I did not want to comply. The soldiers standing by saw my reluctance, so they stepped forward and pointed their rifles at my wife’s head. She screamed in terror. My child said, 'Do not challenge us.' In my fear and helplessness, I handed over the land deeds. After they got the deeds, they left only one sentence: 'Move out in two weeks, or you will lose your lives.' Then they left. After they were gone, my wife went mad, crying and screaming, 'Child, what has happened to my child? How did he become like a demon?' After crying, she hit her head against a large rock and died. I was stunned. Everything happened so fast. My eyes went blank. It was all gone. I do not know what happened to me afterward; I probably went insane from the pain. This kind of event did not just happen to our family; it was a great era where many young people were transformed like this, taken away by the Red Guards, brainwashed, and forced to struggle against their own parents. Many of these suffering people are still in the Chinese sky, trapped in that inescapable era. It is so bitter! Seeing this, my heart felt heavy. Fortunately, Practitioner Su used the Buddha-light to bring them out. There are still so many, many people suffering; this is just one story. Seeing these spaces gives me a deep realisation: what is the point of being human when it is all just competition and struggle? It is so foolish! Comparing this to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss where I am now—so peaceful, calm, kind, and free—you should understand the importance of seeking rebirth in the Western Land. Otherwise, there is no guarantee that you will not become a victim of the great era. Often, it is not a matter of whether you want to or not; you are simply swept into the vortex, perhaps by the collective karma of the times. If you do not learn the Buddha’s teachings, chant Namo Amituofo, and become a Buddha to transcend this, your spirit will be tossed about by the waves of karma, completely out of control. Birth, aging, marriage, child-rearing, old age, and death—it is impossible not to create karma during this life process. You might not even realise you are creating it. A single lie, a single bad thought—that is all it takes. You tell me, is creating karma not an easy thing to do? If so, how will you ever pay it back? Namo Amituofo is of great and accepts children who carry karma to be reborn in the West. There is no better kingdom to go to. The karma I, Steve Jobs, created in this life could be described as immeasurable and boundless, yet Namo Amituofo accepted me, because Namo Amituofo never looks at the bad; He always gives children a chance to repent and turn towards goodness. Practitioner Su has said: 'Sentient beings, sentient beings, if you do not behave, you will become wandering spirits, waiting for others to save you and perform for you. If you cannot wait, then just wander as a ghost.' You must listen to the advice I am giving you today! I rarely act like a nagging person, but if anyone sees this article and is willing to believe, willing to learn the Buddha’s teachings, and willing to make a vow to come to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, then it is truly worth it."

The Fashion of Deliverance

"Today is a big day, and I am very happy. You may have seen me in my past presentations; I always attended important events wearing a black shirt. But things are different now. The current trend for Spiritual Deliverance involves wearing white, with a glittering golden lotus on the chest. All the spirits attending the Dharma assembly must change into this truly pure white garment, which flashes with the lotus symbol of Namo Amituofo’s great compassion. If you do not wear it, you are out of style; you are behind the trend. I am going to be very busy today. Practitioner Su will compassionately visualise me leading my own sentient beings to the West. If I have any spare time, I will also help direct other spirits, because it is already packed with people outside. We must have rules when entering; becoming a Buddha is not like rushing to offer the first incense stick—there must be order. Alright, alright! I invite everyone to come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia. You will see just how filled with Dharma joy it is to learn the Buddha’s teachings and become a Buddha. Namo Amituofo."
