Amitabha Buddha's discourse:

Discriminations of attachment and letting go of are one of the ways beings in this world survive:

Choosing the good and letting go of the bad, discriminating between good and bad,

Choosing the high and letting go of the low, discriminating between high and low,

Choosing the right and letting go of the wrong, discriminating between right and wrong,

Choosing the correct and letting go of the incorrect, discriminating between correct and incorrect,

Choosing the superior and letting go of the inferior, discriminating between superior and inferior,

Choosing the virtuous and letting go of the evil, discriminating between virtuous and evil,

Choosing the pure and letting go of the defiled, discriminating between pure and defiled.

The heart is often in a state of fluctuation, which is the thinking of the mind for the self, for me.

This thinking is the main cause that triggers the manifestation of karma.

If, like a Buddha or Bodhisattva, one's thoughts are all for the sake of beings, without a single trace for oneself,

And if one's thoughts and actions are moved while the heart remains in meditative concentration and unmoving,

Then one can avoid disturbing karma, and karma will not manifest.

A heart in meditative concentration and unmoving is the natural state of the true self; this is the heart of those who have realised their true nature,

Yet, the body can move, and one can think for the sake of beings.

In the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, although there are four lands, three grades, and nine levels,

No matter where one is, all are superior beings gathered in one place, all without discriminations of attachment and letting go of,

It is a world of light and equality, where thoughts manifest as reality, where all wishes are fulfilled, and where there is no discrimination of attachment and letting go of.

Beings of the Western Land do not need to attach or let go of in order to survive,

Therefore, in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss,

There is no discrimination between good and bad, high and low, right and wrong, superior and inferior, virtuous and evil, or pure and defiled,

It is the Buddha-land of ultimate purity, ultimate Goodness, and ultimate bliss.
