This is a record of an interview with a spirit who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. The spirit, who was lost to a miscarriage in 1995, now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account reflects upon her journey from the shadows of the past to the light of the Buddha. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin, on March 14, 2025.

Miaoyin speaks:

"Namo Amituofo. Mother, I am the child you once carried. I am finally here, in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I have been given a name here—I am now called Miaoyin. It is so beautiful, Mother. The light here is so vast, so incredibly brilliant! It is bright at every single moment, and I am finally, truly, able to leave the darkness behind me. For so long, I was trapped in a world of grey, suffocating shadows. I was terrified, Mother. I spent so much of my time huddled in a cold, lonely corner, waiting for something I could not name. It was only when that magnificent, radiant light came to lead me that I was finally able to enter this sacred Buddha-land.

A Reunion in the Light of the Buddha

Upon arriving in this Buddha-land, my heart was suddenly filled with an overwhelming sense of warmth. It was a warmth that seeped into my very essence, and it gave me a courage I had never known before. Even my body, which had felt so small and insignificant in the darkness, began to glow with the brilliance of the Buddha-light. I know in my heart that it was you, Mother, who saved me. Even though I was never born into this world, and even though I never had the chance to look upon your face, there was a deep, spiritual connection—a sense of being in sync—that allowed me to recognise you instantly. When I saw you, I finally understood what my mother looked like. Although I did not have the karmic affinity to be your child in that life, I still want to call out to you: 'Mother!'

Seeing you now, I know that you are safe here in the Buddha-land, protected by the of the Buddha. I know that your life will only get better and better from this moment on. My only wish for you, in all the days to come, is that you remain free from all afflictions and worries.

A Message of Hope for the Family

I also know that I have another family member here in the Buddha-land; everyone calls her A-Jing. A-Jing, you are much luckier than I was. You have the precious opportunity to follow Namo Amituofo, to focus on your practice, and to elevate your spirit. I admire you so much for having this chance. I know that you cherish it deeply, though I also see that sometimes you face interference that makes your state of mind feel unstable. I have seen all of this from the . But I want to tell you: as long as you continue to move forward, you will break through every difficulty. My are with you, Mother, and with you, A-Jing.

Now that I have reached the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, everything is wonderful. My heart feels so open and clear. I know that you will be happy for me, just as I am so happy for you. I truly hope that we will all continue to grow and flourish, and I look forward to the day when we can all meet again here in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Once you follow Namo Amituofo, every wish can be fulfilled. You must believe this with all your heart.

Gratitude for the Path of Deliverance

I am filled with such profound gratitude for the guidance of Practitioner Su. Without her, I would never have been able to reach the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. I have even learned how to chant Buddha's name now. The more I chant, the clearer my mind becomes, and the lighter my spirit feels. I am so deeply thankful for this magnificent Causal Condition. I am grateful to the Buddha, and I am grateful for everything that has led me to this peace.

Miaoyin, with palms joined in reverence."
