On the twenty-ninth of June, 2017, the disciple Shi Faxi humbly requested the Buddha’s compassionate guidance. Namo Amituofo provided the following teachings, illuminating the path for all practitioners who seek to leave suffering behind and find true happiness.

The Compassionate Light of the Buddha

The world we inhabit is like a garment worn thin by time, frayed at the edges and filled with the sorrows of the human condition. Our hearts are often scattered, yet within this fragmented reality, the wisdom and virtue of the Buddha remain pure and warm, offering a sanctuary for all who are lost. The state of our world is riddled with imperfections, and the complexities of human emotion often lead us into confusion and distress. However, the virtue of the Buddha is vast and boundless. Namo Amituofo has come personally to this world to save us, acting as a vessel of the that carries all beings across the sea of suffering toward the of Ultimate Bliss.

Whether one can see this truth or not, all beings are inherently connected to the Buddha’s path. Both the sentient and the insentient are capable of attaining the same supreme wisdom. The Buddha’s boundless leads the way for the ten directions, and the light of shines brightly, piercing through the deepest darkness of the underworld. Even as the world turns in complex and winding ways, the powerful sound of the six-syllable name—Namo Amituofo—rings out, clear and resonant, to guide us home.

The Power of the Sacred Name

Who is it that is truly chanting the name of Namo Amituofo? Each sound should strike the very chords of your heart. When you chant Namo Amituofo, you are not merely reciting words; you are engaging in a practice that transcends the cycle of life and death. It is a call that resonates deep within the soul. When the Buddha’s compassion manifests, even the spirits of the departed kneel and weep, for they recognise the Buddha as one would recognise a long-lost relative or a dear friend from a past life.

The chains and nets that have bound your heart for aeons are broken one by one through this practice. As you chant, you begin to see yourself and others with clarity, recognising the connections you have shared across lifetimes. Those who were once lost in cries of agony and regret are now led by Namo Amituofo, guided swiftly toward the Western Pure Land. You may ask, where does the spirit go? It arises from the heart itself, and when the heart is purified, there is no room for harm to take root.

The True Meaning of Repentance

Everything we experience is a result of the causes and conditions we have created. Sincere repenting is the only way to reach a true conclusion to our karmic debts. Why do we perform repenting ceremonies? It is to heal the suffering within our hearts and to wash our minds clean with the tears of genuine remorse. This is the moment when true Bodhi is awakened, and our capacity for compassion begins to grow.

However, if your repenting is not continuous, you may easily forget your vows and fall back into old habits, repeating the same mistakes. Is there anything absolute in this world? If you perform a thousand repenting ceremonies but return to your original state of confusion, your tears have been shed in vain, and your repenting has passed by empty. This often stems from a lack of sincerity. If you are a person who lacks integrity, your will turn away from you, and you will find yourself caught in a struggle between the light and the dark. The darkness is always painful; therefore, I urge you to adjust the way you repent. If you do not change your path, thousands of years may pass, and countless spirits will remain trapped because they only performed the motions of repenting without truly changing their hearts.

Cultivating the Bodhi Mind

If your mind is distracted and you break your own path of practice, you will not be sincere, and you will not reach the Western Pure Land. You will continue to wander in the cycle of rebirth. How, then, can you walk this path well? Think of a small, steady stream flowing into the vast ocean. The ocean is boundless, and you must learn to be boundless as well. You must allow the infinite, majestic light of the Buddha to illuminate and transform you.

  • Extinguish the :
  • You must work to eliminate greed, anger, and delusion, thereby extinguishing all suffering.Cultivate the Seeds of Virtue:
  • From within your heart, nurture the seeds of goodness and broadly develop the vow of Bodhi.Vow to Save All Beings:
  • Make a solemn pledge to save all suffering beings and to study the conduct of the Tathagata.Escape the Cycle: By following these steps, you will be able to break free from the cycle of the three realms of existence.

The compassion of Bodhi and the majestic virtue of the Tathagata will nourish the light within your heart, and it is my wish that all beings may reach the Western Pure Land together.

The Path to Ultimate Liberation

The work of is of vital importance; do not let this opportunity slip away. The is necessary for this purpose. By keeping your mind focused on Namo Amituofo, you align yourself with the Buddha and walk toward the West. You are essentially leaving the home of worldly attachments to follow the Buddha and learn from Him. Do not fall into the hells or remain lost within the six realms of existence; stay awake, clear, and bright.

Embrace Compassion, , and Selfless Giving, and maintain a vision of the oneness of all beings. Follow the Tathagata, and you shall eventually attain the same Buddhahood as the Tathagata. This is the path of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, and it is the only way to true, lasting peace.
