From a Lost Soul to a Little Buddha
An Interview with the Spirit of O-Le
Recorded by Shi Faxin on August 15, 2025
This is a record of an interview with the spirit of O-Le, who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. O-Le, an aborted spirit from 1998, now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account was recorded by the chief writer, Shi Faxin, on August 15, 2025.
O-Le speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am O-Le. I am already in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Now, every time I open or close my eyes, all I see is Namo Amituofo. My heart is filled with such immense . I also want to thank my mother—the mother I never truly knew—for giving me such a beautiful name. I believe this name has brought me great ; it has allowed me to attain not just O-Le, but true, ultimate bliss."
The Short-Lived Bond of
"Originally, the Causal Conditions were set to bind my mother and me together. Who could have known that our time together would be so brief? One moment I was there, and the next, I was gone. I must admit, I held some regrets in my heart. To say I felt no resentment would be a lie. But now, I truly understand. I understand my mother's hidden hardships and the difficult circumstances she faced. It was this complex, intersecting web of Causal Conditions that gave me the opportunity today to see the Buddha and to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss."
A Joy Beyond Words
"Now that I have arrived in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I am incredibly happy. This kind of happiness is unconditional—it is a beauty that simply cannot be described with human language. Therefore, I have nothing but gratitude. I am so grateful to Namo Amituofo and to Practitioner Su for helping me reach this place. They have allowed my heart to become bright, clear, and transparent.
Since arriving in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, I no longer appear as a small child. I have returned to the original state of my soul. During this time, I have realised so many things. In the past, I would cling tightly to what was right in front of me, clinging to the relationships I once had. Now, I realise that so many things are merely temporary. Because of this, I have decided to look forward and to look toward the horizon."
A Vow to Follow the Buddha
"I have watched Practitioner Su as she continues to save people, constantly exerting herself for the benefit of others. Her dedication is truly magnificent. Although I cannot yet do what Practitioner Su does, I have made a vow to follow Namo Amituofo diligently and learn. In the future, I wish to become someone who can truly help other beings.
Thank you to the Buddha and to Practitioner Su for allowing my spiritual life to undergo such a massive transformation. Right now, my entire being is filled with energy."
A Final Message to Mother
"Although we had no karmic affinity to share a life together in this world, I truly hope that you are doing well. I am now a little disciple of the Buddha, and I will study well, so please, Mother, you can finally let me go. I am grateful for this beautiful, albeit brief, connection we shared.
With palms joined in gratitude, the little Buddha disciple, O-Le. Namo Amituofo."
