The Ancient Demon's Confession: A Life of Control
An Interview with the Spirit of Mo Jicun, an Ancient Demon
Recorded on March 24, 2026
This is a record of an interview with Mo Jicun, an ancient demon who sought at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. He now resides in the . This account reflects upon his existence spanning approximately 933 trillion years. Recorded by the chief writer, Shi Fa, on March 24, 2026.
Mo Jicun speaks:
"Namo Amituofo. I am Mo Jicun, a demon of the demonic paths. Do not be alarmed when you hear the term 'demonic paths.' It is not necessarily some terrifying, supernatural entity; in truth, it refers to the human heart on this Earth that has drifted away from the Right Way. If this deviation is not yet visible on the surface, such people appear just like any other human. But if it manifests externally, they look just like us—the spirits of the demonic realms—with terrifying appearances. Yet, the heart? The heart is exactly the same.
The Modern Drift from the Right Way
Why do I say the hearts of people on Earth are identical to the hearts of those in the demonic realms? Because modern people have abandoned the Right Way. The Right Way is to follow tradition—the traditional Chinese rites and music, the Four Books and Five Classics, and the governance of Confucius and Mencius. However, most modern people find these cultures 'too old-fashioned.' The primary reason? They feel it is 'not fast enough.'
These complex rituals, the concepts of righteousness, propriety, integrity, and shame—in the eyes of modern people, they only add inconvenience to life. In an era obsessed with speed and efficiency, moral foundations become restrictive shackles, losing their perceived value. If there is any residual value left, it has been relegated to the cultural sphere, used only for storytelling or adding a bit of drama. Such culture is now confined to movies or novels, brought out only when one needs to show off a bit of Chinese depth. As for truly practising it, using it in daily life, or employing it to refine one's own character? Hahaha, look around—how many people today are willing to do that?
The Illusion of Professionalism
Even teachers in schools or scholars researching these cultures often treat them merely as tools for making a living. Who is truly willing to apply these teachings to modern life from the bottom of their heart? Perhaps some are willing to try, but to successfully implement them is surely not easy. After all, it runs counter to the prevailing environment. If one cannot conform to the current trends, one is seen as an 'alien' in the eyes of the world, easily ostracised and eliminated. Unless a person has a firm will and is determined to live a life different from the masses, it is very difficult for an ordinary person to withstand such environmental pressure.
I, Mo Jicun, am a demon who has lived in the demonic paths for a long time. You can call me a 'big boss of the demon realm,' or an 'ancient demon,' or an 'old demon.' I prefer 'big boss'—it sounds more accustomed. 'Ancient' or 'old' sounds a bit too aged; I am not that old. By 'big,' I mean my influence is vast, and my mind-capacity is broad. I look at things more objectively. After all, when I was still in the human world, I particularly loved seeking the new, the changing, and the unique. I strongly rejected 'tradition' and the idea of everyone following the same rules. I did not like to limit everyone with such narrow perspectives. People today have such small mind-capacities; I pride myself on having a large one, capable of accepting all kinds of differences and deviations. Therefore, I accept all kinds of cultures and behaviours, and I certainly live that way myself.
A Trillion-Year Reign
After I died, I entered the 'demonic paths.' The name sounds quite good—it implies a path different from the orthodox, which is exactly what I wanted. I have been struggling and climbing in these demonic paths for trillions of years. This time is neither long nor short. I have been quite successful, essentially doing whatever I pleased. There are many 'demon children and grandchildren' who share my aspirations. Together, we have roamed the world, broken through various spaces, expanded our territory, and scavenged for all kinds of energy and resources. That is how we achieved what we have today.
The reason I came to China? There were no real restrictions; wherever we were needed, we went. Why 'needed'? Because wherever people pursue novelty, change, uniqueness, and sensationalism, that is where we are needed. Since there is a demand, we must respond.
China is exactly such a place. Since ancient times, under a system where traditional culture flourished and rules were strict, it has been the most suitable environment for our survival. You might not understand why a strictly regulated environment is suitable for the demonic paths. This is the two sides of the same coin—light and shadow. If no one defined what a rule was, and no one defined what was orthodox, how could there be 'demonic paths'? It is precisely to distinguish from the orthodox that 'evil' exists. Without the 'Right,' how could there be 'evil'? It is because there is an orthodox, a Right Way, and a proper path that there is space for us to collide and conflict. The stricter the rules, the more people want to challenge them. This is the two sides of the same coin; it is a state where we and the Right Way complement and coexist with each other.
The Eternal Cycle of Rebellion
China has been known since ancient times as a land of etiquette, a great nation. The rules of each dynasty and era were numerous, and the emphasis on etiquette was profound. Even in the early days when various vassal states stood side by side, each had its own system and culture. Going back even further to ancient times, tribes had to follow rules to maintain stability. In the dark, this is the principle of the operation of the Heavenly Way. Since the Heavenly Way exists, so do we—the demonic paths. This is an eternal truth: where there are people who set rules, there are people who break them.
We have had vast room for development in every dynasty. When I arrived on Earth about six thousand years ago, people were already calling for us. You might not believe it, but it is a fact. Even in relatively traditional and simple times, such powerful mental notes already caught my attention. This is the characteristic of humans, the special nature of the human world. As for the subsequent eras and dynasties, it goes without saying.
Every country has its laws, and every family has its rules. However, there are many who are unwilling to comply. Since ancient times, those who have been ostracised by society, rejected by social norms, and spurned by people have all been my demon children and grandchildren. They were labelled as having strange characters while they were alive, and they would enter my demon realm and join my ranks. Here, I can say that the energy is inexhaustible. Recruiting them is easy and simple; the mutation and deviation of people's beliefs are very rapid. No matter where, there are always people who refuse to cooperate with local systems. This is the key point of my control over people.
The Digital Age of Resistance
In ancient times, the number of rebels and extremists was limited. But now, I am very surprised—it seems everyone is rebelling. What is going on? On the surface, the Chinese people are still very cooperative, striving for their ethnic group and nation, working hard for the country's prosperity. But these are just slogans, surface phenomena. Who does not have a bit of rebellious psychology in their heart? From the rebellion a child feels when strictly educated, beaten, or scolded by parents, to the displeasure a student feels when taught by a teacher, to the resistance one feels when constantly scolded by a boss in the workplace.
In every field and every region, this feeling of unfairness and disobedience has become the norm. The intensity of this mental note is far greater than what is presented on the surface. These suppressed and rebellious hearts, along with the desire to be different and to isolate oneself to show off, are vented in secret. The most common place is the internet. Have you ever thought about how your performance in real-life interactions differs from your private self on the internet? The reactions are vastly different.
Have you ever thought about why everyone is addicted to the internet? It is actually to seek the new, the changing, the different, and things outside the rules. This desire to be different and to break away from rules is the truest face of the human heart. This is not an isolated case; it is the same across different age groups and different groups of people.
Even little children have long been exposed to the internet and have been indoctrinated with ways to vent themselves online. When they see such words, behaviours, and attitudes online, how can they truly listen to their parents or accept the education of their teachers from the bottom of their hearts?
This is very obvious. Watching these speeches and thoughts that encourage 'letting go' and pursuing novelty every day, how can they be stable and obedient in life? These are the key points of our control; they are already my demon children and grandchildren. If you ask where my demon palaces are, they are truly spread across every province in the country.
The Ease of Control
Although I am quite low-key and do not need to build too many demon palaces—after all, one or two are enough to control a large area—because everyone's heart is so in sync with us, we do not need to expend much effort to control people easily.
Therefore, demon palaces can be set up at will; ten or so in a province are enough. No matter how many people there are, we only need to send a small number of demon children and grandchildren to easily control a person. Because deep down, their desire for the new, the changing, and the different is completely in sync with us.
The more suppressed and obedient one appears on the surface, the more rebellious and extreme the thoughts and mental notes often are deep inside. This is the point where we find it easy to act. We only need to incite them a few times at the right moment and situation, let them have more extreme thoughts, let them want to do some extreme behaviours, and let them want to lead the people around them to have more extreme views. In this way, we can completely control them. And these mental notes and fluctuations of theirs provide us with full energy. This is simply too easy. To be honest, having been in China for six thousand years, I never thought I would encounter an opponent. Opponents really do not exist for me.
Because anyone who wants to oppose me—do they not still have that rebellious, unique, and novelty-seeking hostile psychology in their hearts? This is not an opponent, but a partner. Since they are partners, there is no need for opposition. This is my mind-capacity. Anyone who seeks the new, wants to be different, or even wants to confront or resist me, I will accept. They are all members of our group, our partners, not enemies.
The Arrival of the True
However, not long ago, China began to have some slightly different changes. Some True Dharma was introduced. This True Dharma has not been seen for a long time; at least in the great era of the modern society where demons dance, I have not seen it. People pursue the new, the change, the meaning, the speed, the win, and the victory. Various pursuits, as well as various thoughts that do not conform to the Right Way and ways of thinking that deviate from the right track, have long pushed the so-called True Dharma very far away. I never thought this was possible.
Traditional China indeed has many conservative people, but now, even those who seem conservative, traditional, calm, and well-behaved still have that irrepressible extreme psychology in their hearts. Whether it is in one aspect or another—perhaps a bit impatient in some small place, or having a unique concept, not wanting to be well-behaved—all kinds of situations exist. In short, this situation of the True Dharma being well-behaved and completely following the Universal Principle is already very rare. I have not seen the scene of the True Dharma being propagated for a long time.
However, recently, the True Dharma has slowly flowed into China, and the words reveal the real Buddha’s words. Why do I say so? It is because this is indeed the Truth, the Right Way, and the Universal Principle, where neither extreme of the Middle Way exists. Such a well-behaved Buddha’s teaching that follows the Universal Principle is truly something I have not seen for a long time. That such a True Dharma could be introduced into China makes me very curious. But curiosity is curiosity; after all, the impact is not great. Why do I say the impact is not great? Because there are not many people who can understand it, or one could even say there are none at all. People who can understand the True Dharma and the Universal Principle now must truly believe that the Truth, the Right Way, and being well-behaved are truly useful.
For people who have been long-term nurtured by various evil paths, such a True Dharma and the method of being well-behaved are already difficult for people to understand. People are used to using their own thinking to understand, and the things they think of are all biased. I am sorry to be too blunt, but this is why Practitioner Su repeatedly advises everyone: do not think when listening to the sutras, because the things you think of are all wrong and biased. In the process of thinking, the trained way of thinking already carries strong personal subjective judgment, is saturated with the influence of Chinese-style thinking, and has many concepts instilled by demon crowds. In the process of thinking, you summon more demon crowds; how can you truly understand the real meaning of the Buddha’s teachings?
The key to listening to the sutras and hearing the Dharma is: do not think, do not contemplate. Listen purely, and change truly. Does anyone understand this now? Oh my, that it should come from the mouth of my demon crowd—it really surprises me. This must be because I have been nurtured in the Dharma-Nature Land for many days.
The End of the Demon Career
Back to the point, does anyone understand such a True Dharma? There is no way. Since no one understands it, it does not affect the operation of my demon realm. This must be a great sorrow of the Buddha’s teachings at this moment in time! But I see that Practitioner Su does not seem to have any intention of retreating. Is this an instruction from Namo Amituofo? I do not understand that either.
Practitioner Su continues to perform Chao Du in China, sweeping across all parts of China. Many of my demon palaces have been swept away as a result. Oh my, this looks aggressive, but it seems to have no impact on the human world. Although many of my demon palaces in the spiritual realm have been destroyed, I can still easily control people. People still do not understand the Buddha’s education, so it has no impact on me at all.
After this wave of Chao Du offensive passes, I can still make a comeback. But perhaps I am too naive; Practitioner Su does not seem to have any intention of stopping. And just a few days ago, I was delivered into the Dharma-Nature Land.
Oh my, there is no more playing! Since I was caught in the Dharma-Nature Land, it means my demon career has come to an end. Looking back at the bits and pieces of controlling people in the past, oh my, when I first entered the Dharma-Nature Land, I was indeed still quite proud. Now that I have listened to the sutras and heard the Dharma, it is different. I understand that this cannot be done! Controlling people and making people not follow the rules—wow, I am afraid that in the future, I will have very little chance to come into contact with the True Dharma. I will also find it difficult to understand the rules, which is what is called 'not listening to advice.' All of you who have the opportunity to see this interview, do you often not listen to advice? Are you unable to listen to the advice of teachers and parents? Are you unable to listen to the advice of elders and true spiritual friends?
This may be because you were once a member of the 'controlling people' group in your past lives. No matter how big or small the you have created, it is not too late to turn back now. Do not advocate your demon nature anymore. If you continue to not listen to advice and continue to let the demon crowds within you control you, this is a sin, and you must bear the consequences yourself.
A Call to Return
Being able to obtain a human body should be well utilised. If you have the opportunity to come into contact with the True Dharma and learn the Pure Land education of Namo Amituofo, you should grasp it well. If you truly understand why you should follow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, why you should follow moral foundations, and why you should not take the route of demonic paths—not seeking the new, the fast, or mutation, or adopting some improper methods—then it will be of great help to yourself.
I also want to advise the demon children and grandchildren under my command who have not yet surrendered. Oh my, your hearts, I understand better than anyone. Do you not want to listen to the rules? Everyone is like that. But if you want to stand on your own, you must also weigh your own capabilities. How much do you understand about the operating mechanism of the environment and the vast universe? If you do not understand the rules of the universe, do not understand the rules of this game, and operate in the way you think, have you ever thought about the liquidation and pursuit you will receive later? Just because you are fine for a moment, does it mean you will be fine forever?
That is not the case. The Universal Principle is constantly liquidating and pursuing; how long can you run rampant? Everyone must be clear that 'arrogance does not last as long as misfortune.' Only the Buddha can see the essence of the universe and understand the Truth and the Right Way. I beg you to learn the Buddha’s teachings early, surrender to Namo Amituofo, and do not play in the demon palaces anymore. Sooner or later, you will be swept away by Practitioner Su. My deepest demon palaces have already disappeared; how long can you last?
Of course, I still have many demon palaces remaining in the universe and the Western outer spaces, but at the speed of Practitioner Su’s Chao Du of the ten directions, they will soon be destroyed. This is not to boost others' morale, but to state the facts. If you see the urgent attitude of the demon crowds attacking Practitioner Su and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, you will know that everyone is forced to act like a dog jumping over a wall only after their demon palaces are destroyed. My demon palaces all over the Earth have been destroyed. Several large demon palaces, such as those in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, have already disappeared; the remaining ones in the interior will be next. Of course, the population there is smaller and the scale is smaller. You might as well surrender; staying there will eventually lead to destruction, which is not a solution.
The Truth of the Universal Principle
I have only understood after listening to the sutras in the Dharma-Nature Land for a few days that the Universal Principle has never left for a moment. I also advise the Chinese people to believe in the Universal Principle. If you do not believe it and think that as long as no one finds out, you can use your own evil ways; as long as no one is watching you, you can use some evil arts and evil methods, you are actually very wrong. The liquidation of the Universal Principle is going on at all times. It is not that the time has not come, but that you are being controlled in the dark, creating even greater karma, which is also a part of the Universal Principle.
Perhaps you should understand that it is not waiting until you enter hell to be punished, nor is it waiting until the sufferings of old age, sickness, and death appear, that is the real retribution. Being controlled to create greater karma, thereby affecting more people, and making the karma you create so great that it cannot be recovered—this is the most serious situation of retribution you are currently experiencing.
If everyone can see this point, perhaps it will be easier to wake up. I have already left the environment of creating karma and the life of controlling people in the Dharma-Nature Land. Looking back, I am also very relieved. Fortunately, Practitioner Su performed Chao Du for me and saved me into the Dharma-Nature Land; otherwise, if I were left to develop in China, I do not know how many more people I would control. As my territory expanded, it might not just be China, but the entire Earth could have been included in my ranks.
Although this boastful talk sounds a bit exaggerated, according to the personality of people on Earth, if you think about it carefully, if it were not controlled by me, it would definitely be controlled by other demon crowds. For the poor human beings in China and the whole world, what is the difference which demon controls them? They are still controlled and unable to be autonomous, constantly creating karma. This is the collective karma of human beings in the age of the Dharma’s decline.
Now, only the Buddha’s education of Namo Amituofo can reverse everyone’s karma. I sincerely hope that everyone can wholeheartedly and devotedly follow the Buddha to learn, and no longer be obsessed with pursuing some strange evil methods.
I am grateful to Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for giving me this opportunity to make a confession. I, Mo Jicun, am very grateful and very emotional. Let it be said here.
Namo Amituofo.
