On the eighth of July, 2017, the disciple Shi Faxi bowed respectfully and invited the Buddha to offer his compassionate guidance. Namo Amituofo provided the following teachings on the nature of our spiritual journey.

The Compass of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way

The compass of your life must be set to the true direction. Heaven and earth operate according to natural laws, and the follows these same principles. The path of the heavens and the Buddha’s teachings of the West are both rooted in the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, which is firm and unyielding. This path is never based on biased emotions or personal attachments; it is the pure, universal Truth.

When the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way flourishes, the Dharma is spread widely. We are all sailing together upon the vast ocean of the Dharma. Whether your vessel is large or small, you must work in harmony to break through the dark, turbulent waves of . You will sail through many long, dark nights, but if you persevere, you will eventually see the ray of hope. Only then will you truly understand the destination. Reaching the of Ultimate Bliss is the ultimate goal, and upon arrival, you will immediately attain the fruits of your practice.

Navigating the Ocean of Dharma

Consider the fleet of ships that make up the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss navigation team. How do we set our course? Who holds the rudder? The great ship that leads the way sails straight ahead without fear. Those who hold the wind and the rudder must clearly understand the instructions provided. That instruction is simply this: the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.

You must be diligent, day and night, through the morning light and the darkness of the night. Every single day, your focus must remain unchanged. There is only one direction, and that is the West. This is the seafaring life of a practitioner.

Overcoming the Waves of Karma

You may feel the weight of past burdens—illness, fatigue, or a sense of darkness. These are the results of causes you created in previous lifetimes. You must resolve these causes yourself, but you do not have to do it alone. The great ship of the Buddha’s teachings allows us to travel together as companions. If we share the same wisdom and life, we become one in heart and mind. Our collective strength is infinite, and we can assist the entire universe.

I offer these teachings according to the timing of the Dharma. To all future Buddhas, I see your Buddha-nature, which is not limited to the physical human body. I am here to lead you on this holy voyage to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Sometimes, wisdom is difficult to find; sometimes, the nature is difficult to tame; sometimes, the will is difficult to sustain. There are a hundred reasons for these struggles, but you must overcome them. Do not follow your own selfish desires. Instead, rely on the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, for this path is full of light.

The Great Voyage Home

The Buddha’s teachings are vast, and the ocean of the Dharma is deep. The of Enlightenment is wide, and the measure of the Dharma is immeasurable. Throughout the entire universe, even down to a single blade of grass or a grain of sand, nothing should be allowed to scatter or be lost. We must ensure that no one loses their Dharma affinity. We must save all beings together and sail straight toward the West.

In this present time, Namo Amituofo personally leads the way, and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre guides the voyage. To all beings in this Saha world, we hope that you will all return home together. Do not rely on your own limited thoughts; respect the Truth, do not lose your affinity for wisdom, and work together to propagate the Buddha’s teachings.

This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi.
