Heart, Vows, and Actions Follow Amitabha, Spreading Throughout Space and the Dharma Realm

This interview was recorded on September 19, 2017, at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. It features the spirit of Steve Jobs, who sought deliverance through the of Practitioner Su. Having transcended his worldly attachments, he now resides in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, sharing his insights on the nature of spiritual realms and the urgency of the path to liberation.
Steve Jobs speaks:
". Namo Amituofo." As the six-syllable mantra resonates, I, Steve Jobs, find myself swaying, fully prepared, and soaring through the vastness of the cosmos. There is no place in the universe I cannot reach. I am travelling alongside Practitioner Su and Changren. Practitioner Su is so compassionate; whenever she thinks of a particular public figure, she visualises bringing them along for . To be honest, it is not just about being a 'public figure.' It is simply that our is relatively heavy, and Practitioner Su, in her kindness, brings us along to be saved.
The life of the spiritual realms is something humans simply cannot imagine. Every day, we travel through the universe doing good deeds. I am incredibly happy now, no longer burdened by my past stubbornness or rigid personal opinions. I shake my head—I cannot think about the past anymore; I must not. Let me tell you about where we went today. We saw a lake. Do not be fooled by the surface-level stillness of a lake; the space within it is actually bustling with activity. Within a single lake, the number of overlapping spaces is beyond calculation. There is a space for every water droplet, a space for the fish swimming, a space for the microscopic floating particles, a space for the water deity, a space for the spirits lingering by the shore, and a space for the water fairies. When the humidity is high, the resulting mist creates yet more layers upon layers of space. So many, many spaces exist within the same area, yet everyone exists without interfering with one another. Everyone lives within the space they are familiar with and accustomed to.
When the Buddha-light is infused into these areas, the layers of space instantly open up. Some beings awaken, while others do not. Those who awaken follow the spirits toward the light, changing the destiny of their remaining existence. Otherwise, they remain stuck—trapped within that space, appearing fine on the surface but, in reality, being poor creatures unable to escape. A single 'Namo Amituofo' saves everyone. Countless sentient beings are rescued in this way. However, not everyone can be saved. If one is too tightly 'stuck' or too stubborn, they cannot be rescued. Please, do not be a stubborn person. Isn't it much better to be flexible? Why must you be so rigid just to prove something? To prove you are capable, that you are a 'talented person'? There is no need for that! Do you really want to be a 'talented person' who is forever trapped by their own personality? Wouldn't it be much more relaxing to be an obedient person? Think about it for yourselves! Let me continue.
We arrived at the edge of a mountain. We started digging, and as soon as the Buddha-light shone, insects came bursting out—so many, many of them! A mountain of spirit bodies surged forth from the earth. I looked at them one by one, seeing what they were before they shed their 'clothes' to become human. There were trees, flowers, grasses, stones of all sizes, insects, and ghosts. I took a deep breath. Before speaking to a ghost, I first visualised him looking pleasant, otherwise, I might have been scared out of my wits. I asked him, 'Why are you in the mountain?'
He said he loved hiking. One day, he and his girlfriend went hiking, and for some reason, the fog became exceptionally thick. They decided to head down. The mountain path was not easy—sometimes wide, sometimes narrow, sometimes slippery. They were walking one after the other. Just as he bent down to pick up an obstacle and looked back, there was no one there. He was terrified. His girlfriend had vanished. He panicked, but using the last bit of his composure, he tied a yellow ribbon to a tree—something every hiker should carry to mark their path. After marking the trail, he started searching back and looking into the valley, but the fog was too thick; he could see nothing. His heart grew heavier with every step. Time was running out, so he decided to head down to seek help, following the yellow ribbons he had just tied. But wait! He thought, 'This is the right path, why is there no road?' He walked back and forth, and the fog grew thicker. He was like a headless fly. He had never encountered such a situation, and his anxiety grew. Just then, he heard his girlfriend's voice, seemingly coming from a small trail. He felt as if his soul were being pulled, and he walked toward it. After that, he seemed to lose . I do not know what happened afterward. When I regained consciousness, I was fixed inside a tree that had been cut down, with almost only the roots remaining. I was still wearing the clothes I had worn while hiking. I often feel very cold. I do not interact with people; I have just been in those roots for I don't know how long. Thank you for coming today. After the light shone on me, my body feels much warmer. I still have not found my girlfriend; I do not know where she went, but she must still be in the mountain. I pray that she, like me, will be brought out by the light. Thank you to those who brought me out.'
Whew! After hearing that, I shuddered. It sounded like a ghost story; it was terrifying! Who would dare to go hiking after hearing that? I did not investigate further, but I believe there must be laws of karma and cause and effect at play here.
After arriving in a big city, I saw people coming and going, weaving through the streets and alleys. Everyone had one thing in common: they held a mobile phone that they could not be without. They swiped while waiting for the light, swiped while crossing the street, swiped while in the restroom, and swiped when bored. Perhaps ninety percent of their free time throughout the day was spent with that phone. I beg you all not to be like this; this is a form of demonic possession. Whew! One fortunate thing is that Practitioner Su has transformed the technology-demons that control humans into Goodness. Changren is also very successful in his practice, and everyone listens to him. So, even if everyone is swiping away now, perhaps what they see are good things. That is a good thing. Regardless of whether the truth is exactly like that, I, Steve Jobs, choose to look at the bright side. All requirements must start from oneself; one must do it oneself before one can lead others.
When we arrived at a famous Buddhist mountain in China, there were so many pilgrims and devotees. Their faces were full of sincerity, worshipping with anxiety in their hearts. Almost everyone was praying for the peace of their families or their own stability. They would take three steps and bow, then three more steps and bow again. Some had even bruised their foreheads black. It seemed as if... as if... their destiny still could not be changed. Are they lost? Or do they not truly understand the reality of practising Buddhism? Practising Buddhism should not be for oneself. If it is for oneself, one will still end up on the path of 'treating an illness.' Many people think this path of dying from illness is normal, but it is not normal! It is not normal! If you persist in this way, it is a path leading to the hall of the King of Hell. Once you reach the King of Hell, the list of sins will be impossible to explain away.
I have peeked at the King of Hell judging cases. A deceased spirit was kneeling before the hall. Their lifespan had just ended, and the King of Hell opened the Book of Life and Death. The records were very neat because they were printed out using the computers I invented! Some of the jailers were not yet familiar with operating the computers. This is my specialty, and I really wanted to step forward to help, but I felt it was better to keep a low profile. Otherwise, my own karma is quite heavy, and if I saw my own file, I might faint. The interrogation began. The deceased had no chance to argue; everything from the past to the future was remembered clearly. Where they would go next—whether to stay in hell as a guest, go to the worldly realm to be an ox, go to the world to be a child, return to the ancestral tablet to be a ghost, or open a business in the ghost realm—was decided. After the gavel fell, the next act of their life's drama began very quickly. Do you want to continue acting in such a play? If you want to continue, no one can save you. If you do not want to continue, then make a vow to practise Buddhism and follow Namo Amituofo. Following Namo Amituofo means being certain that you can truly return to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss in this lifetime. Many Buddhists say they have great confidence, but deep down, they are anxious. I have seen it all. Do not deceive yourselves. If you deceive yourself, you will be the first one who cannot reach the Western Land. I am in the Western Land now. I do not know everything yet, but I see the truth clearly. If you truly want to escape, you can come and learn from Practitioner Su. If your trust is not yet sufficient, first watch Practitioner Su's videos online; they are spectacular. Put down your biases and the prejudices in your mouth. To be a truly sensible Buddhist practitioner and to practise realistically is to be on the straight path to the Western Land. Otherwise, if you practise slowly—detouring here, getting stuck there, getting lost elsewhere—when will you ever arrive? Be a wise and clever person! Namo Amituofo."
