The Essence of Chanting Namo Amituofo
Teachings from Namo Amituofo

The of the Heart
What does it truly mean to chant the name of the Buddha? Today, I shall teach you all. Chanting begins within the heart. True chanting is the state of no-thought, where the mind is so focused and pure that it transcends the ordinary process of thinking. To chant the path is to ensure one will see the Buddha. When the heart knows the place of purity, one will single-mindedly pursue the path to rebirth in the of Ultimate Bliss.
When you recite the name of Namo Amituofo, you must ask yourself: while the name is spoken by the mouth, where is the mind? Is the sound of your chanting truly sincere? Or is your focus merely on your own physical form? The nature of your chanting depends entirely on the state of your mind. I teach you all to focus your mind on the place of true awakening.
The Infinite of Stillness
The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is a realm of profound stillness and purity. This purity is not merely a destination in the distance; it is the state of mind that lies ahead of you on your spiritual path. The joy of the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is infinite, and the heart that experiences this joy knows no bounds. Do not dwell on the suffering of the dust of this world, for I am not suffering. By removing the causes of suffering, you will find the true place of your heart.
By reaching a state of no-thought, you remove the obstacles that cloud your mind. When your heart truly dwells in the Buddha, you are at peace. Even while living in this world, you can maintain a state of clear, empty awareness, knowing that you brought nothing into this world and will take nothing with you when you leave.
Releasing the Bonds of Emotion
Why, then, do you feel the need to bind yourself so tightly to worldly emotions and attachments? Understanding this truth is the beginning of finding true peace of mind. You must follow my teachings and chant with a sincere heart, for that is the only way to truly know the path.
A Sanctuary for the Soul
Australia serves as a sacred hall of purification. It is a place where the environment supports the clearing of the confusion and delusions we have carried through countless lifetimes. Within this sanctuary, you can find peace and nurture your true nature. As you resolve the doubts within your heart, your body, mind, and spirit will naturally open. When you reach this state of openness, the sound you hear will be the true, resonant voice of Buddha-recitation. Namo Amituofo.
