At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, we are blessed to receive the profound teachings of . On this day, the veil of the universe was lifted, and the mysteries of the human body were revealed to us. The universe is composed of layer upon layer, an infinite expanse that stretches beyond our limited comprehension. Throughout history, across all lands and through the endless cycle of generations, countless ancestral masters and virtuous beings have sought the Truth. The spirit has existed since time immemorial, travelling through the six realms of existence. How many spirits have journeyed through these countless eons? It is a number beyond counting, yet today, this mystery is finally resolved.
Every experience you have ever had, regardless of the form your body has taken in this life or previous lives, is recorded within you. Every thought, every action, every sensory experience—what you have seen, heard, smelled, tasted, touched, and felt—is stored within your body. Nothing is missing. These experiences remain hidden within, only to manifest when the conditions are right. When they are hidden, you may feel nothing, but they have not disappeared. They remain as heavy as ever, accumulating with every new action you take. When the time comes for these karmic seeds to ripen, you will experience the results. Whether the outcome is good or evil, pure or impure, you must taste the fruit of your own actions. This is the nature of the laws of and cause and effect.
Any illness or physical change you experience is a direct reflection of your heart and a response from your cells. Between the heart and the body, there is a subtle, constant interaction. When you are stirred by an external event, you are receiving the results of your past karma. This process is as inseparable as a shadow following an object. It is precise and exact, occurring entirely within your own body. It does not come from the outside. Within the Body-Mind-Spirit, there is a delicate connection where everything is linked. When one part moves, the whole is affected; when one part is still, all is still. If you wish to achieve true purity, you must leave behind all desires. You must practise and no-thought, and cultivate the perspective of the oneness of all things.
This is not merely empty talk; if you wish to attain this state, you must put it into practice. It is through your practice that you will gain insight and clearly understand the philosophy of the . If there is any bias, any selfishness, or any attachment, you are not in the state of oneness, and you will remain bound by the laws of karma and cause and effect. Within every cause, there is a result, and within every result, there is a cause. This cycle constructs the six realms of existence. Although the physical forms in each realm differ, the within remains the same. It follows you everywhere, without the slightest omission. It is not only the human body that holds this mystery; the mystery is universal. All beings in the six realms, whether in this world or others, share this same truth. Though their forms may differ, the underlying philosophy remains unchanged.
Because the heart is the same, the messages of the universe can be communicated. Regardless of national boundaries, physical forms, races, or languages, the message of the heart remains constant. This is what we call the Truth. The facts of the universe, time, and space are, in reality, fused into one. This is the principle of oneness. Whether viewed from a microscopic or macroscopic perspective, it is perfectly precise. When your awareness is pure and unstained, you will realise your true nature. This is your original face—empty, silent, and transparent. By responding to the needs of all beings, you can manifest infinite forms and bring forth infinite Dharma. The truth of the universe is contained within this state. To understand this mystery, one must be able to conquer , see one's original nature, and verify the Truth. Only by thoroughly penetrating the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way can one truly achieve this state of perfection.
