Where is the Shore?
Words of Namo Amituofo

The Illusion of the World
This discourse was delivered during the on the 12th of April, 2018. Namo Amituofo speaks to us of the nature of our existence, reminding us that we have wandered through countless lifetimes, lost in the vast expanse of space. How many spirits have drifted through the ages, performing their roles in a state of deep delusion?
We act out our lives from dawn until dusk, performing scenes of fortune and misfortune. We play out our roles until we are exhausted by our own confusion, yet we fail to realise that this life is merely a play. Within this drama, there are hidden sorrows that only we can hear, yet we remain lost, drowning in the deep abyss of the cycle of rebirth.
The Wandering Spirit
The spirit has no true master, and we inhabit is merely borrowed for a short time. As we drift through this life, we must ask ourselves: where is the shore? You may have studied a hundred different doctrines and philosophies, yet your emotions remain volatile and ever-changing. This is because you are still identifying with the wandering spirit rather than your true nature.
If you wish to achieve spiritual success, you must recognise the value of the body you currently possess. You must learn to let go of all attachments. Do not let anything remain in your heart that does not belong there. When you empty your heart, you create the space for your true nature to shine through.
The Path to the Shore
When we look back at the past kalpas, we see that is ultimately empty. In the of Ultimate Bliss, there is no concept of good or evil as we understand it in this world. Everything is treated with perfect equality, and there is no room for the mind of discriminations. Inside and outside, all is good; there is only the presence of pure, wholesome thoughts.
If you are present in this very moment, you must strive to be authentic. Do not allow the affairs of this world to add more dust to your spirit. You must be able to cleanse your mind and return to your true self with speed and determination.
Returning to the Pure Source
The only way to ensure true success is to follow Namo Amituofo and return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the only path that guarantees your liberation from the cycle of suffering. By turning away from confusion and embracing the light of the Buddha, you will find the shore you have been searching for throughout all these lifetimes. This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Shi Faxi.
